Continuous Oil Refinery

An edible oils refinery installed & commissioned at Port Qasim Karachi is the latest addition and the flagship of Kausar Group of Companies. This state-of-the-art edible oils refinery is strategically located at the biggest port city of the country. The fully-automated continuous edible oil refinery has been installed by Alfa Laval (Sweden) with an optimum capacity of 250 TPD. The refinery is equipped with continuous auto de-sludge & washing separators and has the ability to handle both soft and hard oils. Crude edible oil is refined at ultra-high temperature (UHT) under an air-tight vacuum system to ensure that the produce is fit for human consumption.

Solvent Extraction Plant

With a crushing capacity of 250 TPD, Kausar Solvent Extraction plant at Port Qasim Karachi is a testament to the quality commitment of Kausar Group of Companies. This facility has multiple expellers & horizontal extractors. High quality hexane with a negative pressure system is used at this solvent extraction plant. At this facility, oil seeds imported from Canada, Australia & Central Asian States are crushed under the supervision of highly skilled technicians trained by European experts.

Owing to the high quality of the produce, this is one of the few facilities in the country which boosts an ever increasing export business of meals (solid residue left behind after crushing of oil seeds) to various international markets such as China, Korea and many other countries around the world.

Batch Refinery

The chemical batch refinery established in 1992 at Gujranwala is the oldest operative edible oil facility of Kausar Group of Companies. This production facility has been regularly updated during the annaul maintainance shutdowns. The initial installed capacity of this plant was 32TPD but the constant enhancement of the capacity has resulted to the current capacity to process 144 TPD of banaspati ghee and 64 TPD of cooking oil. Latest processing techniques are adapted to produce banaspati ghee and cooking oils.
